forgetting all wounds

After I had mended all our socks with holes, I’d like to use the same mendingstitch for my work. But after finishing the first embroidery I wanted to give up because making a very small piece was very time consuming. But I enjoyed this kind of stitching too. So I just kept going.

At the same time I dyed wool and silk naturally and wove some patches. In the end I just had to mix it with scraps from old indigo fabrics - and a new wallhanging was done.
