Perhaps you love the pieces that make you almost despair over and over again the most. I have lost count the number of times I have tried to embroider a handwoven piece. It never became really beautiful. But with the one on the right side I’m very happy. The one on the left is a kind of mosaic embroidery, a technique that always inspires me. The intensely luminous piece on the left and the soft one on the right together make ‘wounded hope’, a new wallhanging.
